Diverted Music is a trance label ranging from progressive, tech, uplifting and hard trance featuring the nu-breed talent of tomorrow, allowing them to brush shoulders with the household DJs and producers of today.

Diverted Recordings originally formed back in 2006, and was founded by Steve Allen and Daniel Vale. Due to some misfortunate events, Steve wanted to concentrate on his solo productions and release music under his own label Communicate, Steve now runs a successful trance label under Beyond Digital. Diverted Recordings took a u-turn and ceased to release music under that name again. However, in 2008, Daniel decided to inject new life into Diverted Recordings, but didn't want the name or sound to drift away. Mat Silver (Above The Sky Recordings) took a shine to Daniel and the Diverted name, and began to offer his assistance in helping Daniel push Diverted in the right direction. It was Mat Silver's energy and enthusiasm, which helped Daniel push Diverted back onto the right course and for the right purposes: the love of music.

With a split-up from the current distributor, Daniel seeked advice from Alter Ego honcho's Matt Abbott & Chris Chambers. Upon explaining the situation, Matt gave Daniel the thumbs up to release tracks once more and Diverted Recordings became Diverted Music. To this day, ravers, DJ's and producers know the "Diverted Sound" to be powerful, energetic trance tracks with big melodies and ripping basslines. Diverted Music will continue to adopt its trademark sound - and doesn't intend on changing.
